Agent quick start
Your company runs StaffSense on its own server and domain. You install the Windows app and connect to that domain — not the public staffsense.net site.
Before you begin
- Download the Windows client (installer only — no extra developer tools)
- Know your company’s Server URL — the domain where StaffSense is deployed, for example
https://staffsense.customdomain.com - Have the email and password your admin created for you
Connect and clock in
- Run the installer and launch StaffSense — leave the tray icon visible
- Enter Server URL = your company domain (with
https://) - Enter your email and password
- Select today’s project
- If asked, read and accept the consent notice
- Click Clock in
Wrong URL is the most common issue. Use the company domain your admin gave you — never staffsense.net for Server URL.
What may be recorded
Depends entirely on the project:
- Time only — just when you clocked in and out
- Monitored — apps, browser sites, and/or screenshots while clocked in
StaffSense does not capture the content of your keystrokes.
Schedule
Your assigned shifts appear under Your schedule in the app. Ask a manager if something looks wrong.
